About Us

Mr. Dennis J. Kelly, a graduate of Hofstra University Law School, began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney’s office. While at the D.A.’s office, he successfully tried numerous felony cases. Upon leaving the public sector Mr. Kelly entered private practice and continued honing his trial skills by representing clients in both criminal and civil matters in over 100 trials in both State and Federal Courts. He represented the family of a New York resident who was killed at the Nassau County Correctional Facility; the litigation prompted the Justice Department to institute a monitoring program to prevent future abuse and the family was awarded a $7.8 million settlement.
Mr. Kelly’s practice continued to serve those who need a forceful advocate. The combination of a demographic shift that includes many more senior citizens and ever tightening health care budgets have left patients and residents who need care vulnerable. Mr. Kelly foresaw the burgeoning field of Nursing Home litigation and created a firm dedicated to protecting the rights of residents. His specialized approach has led to him being considered a leading advocate for the rights of seniors. Mr. Kelly has assembled an unmatched litigation team that has produced verdicts of $19 million in the Danzy Case, $15 million in the Gilbert case, and $750,000 in the Alvarez case, among many others. His record of achievement remains unmatched.
